Nam Phu Quoc is poised to become the tourism capital of Phu Quoc in the near future, with a comprehensive and well-planned development strategy that includes billion-dollar projects from Sun Group such as the JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay, Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort, Premier Residences Phu Quoc Emerald Bay, New World Phu Quoc, Hon Thom Cable Car, Sun World Phu Quoc, and Hon Thom Paradise Island. Adding to this is the upcoming Kiss Bridge, a new iconic landmark in Nam Phu Quoc. The Kiss Bridge is scheduled to be inaugurated in March, and will symbolize romance in Nam Phu Quoc, capturing countless moments and emotions of love.
Kiss Bridge – A new check-in spot for love and stunning sunsets in Phu Quoc
The Kiss Bridge was designed by Marco Casamonti, an architect and cultural ambassador of art from Italy to Vietnam. He spent two years conceptualizing and designing this project. The bridge has a total length of 810m and is constructed of steel with a total weight of 5,000 tons. Notably, this is the only bridge in Vietnam that does not connect two ends of the bridge. Instead, there is a 50cm gap in the middle.
The Kiss Bridge, located in the center of Sunset Town, a part of the Sun Group Phu Quoc ecosystem, is easily accessible by motorcycle, car, or bus to Sunset Town or by taking the Hon Thom cable car and walking or using an electric vehicle to reach the bridge. Phú Quốc.
Uniquely designed, the symbol of a love story at sunset. This is an exceptional surreal architectural icon, 810m long, made of 5000 tons of steel (equivalent to 1/2 of the Eiffel Tower) with the shape of two soft sphere branches like two silky ribbons facing the sea to welcome the sunset… Inspired by the love story of the Cowherd and Weaver Girl, The Honeymoon Bridge is not only a bridge connecting the two sides of the island but also a symbol of the connection between humans and humans, and humans and nature.
From a distance, the bridge appears like a silk strip stretching across the jade ocean, with two sections reaching out to embrace the white sandy shores, facing each other and merging into a unified entity without touching, much like the tremulous feelings of two lovers before a romantic kiss. On one end of the bridge is the “Chang” restaurant, while on the other end is the “Nang” restaurant, and in the middle of the bridge, there is a gap of about 50cm that separates them. This gap is filled by the image of the sun at sunset, only during the period from December 24 to January 1. This is where “Chang” and “Nang” come together to exchange passionate kisses under the sunset. In the middle of the bridge, there is a space designed for relatives, friends, and photographers to witness and capture this memorable moment. This moment, where both humans and nature are connected as one, represents the significance, symbol, and highlight that Sun Group wants to convey to every visitor when they come to Phu Quoc.
Recently, the image of a Kiss Bridge appeared in a super romantic proposal scene in the music video “I Do” by Duc Phuc in collaboration with the band 911. The scene shows the couple dancing on a bridge in the extremely picturesque sunset light, surrounded by a beautiful and vast sky and sea. The young man kneels down to propose to the girl, and the moment of love takes center stage, sweet and touching like a fairy tale, which makes many young hearts flutter and emotions overflow. With Valentine’s Day approaching, the appearance of this romantic and poetic “Proposal” in the music video “I Do” quickly reached over 1 million views within 14 hours of its release.
